I was player rep in season 8 and I think I did a great job at representing the players and providing arguments from our point of view to ensure we are thought of when creating/editing rules. (edited)

Is there anything off the top of your head that you would work on immediately?

questions for chells. as someone who was in rules committee last season, we did not meet nearly as often as we should have. what do you think could improve that?

How fast do you think new rules should be discussed and implemented? From an outsider's view it seems like the rules committee meets occasionally and new rules are implemented as a batch. Do you agree with that approach?

What did you do in your tenure as a Rep last season? What makes you want to continue to be on the committee?

i want to continue to work with the rest of the committee to ensure the players aren't shafted when it comes to rules. in order to ensure rules aren't in favor of gms/league/admins/etc, the player rep needs to stand up for the base to ensure fair changes/additions.

rules takes too long to get going. we need to be more on top of potential changes and present ideas to the table quicker. if someone throws you an idea that could potentially work, throw it in the rules chat and we'll discuss. a lot of idleness happened last season and we have to change that

ideally rules would discuss and vote on each rule change that gets presented asap. i dont necessarily /disagree/ with voting in bunches, especially since trying to find a time that works for everybody to meet is difficult, but if that continues to be primary method of discussion/voting, it needs to be done quicker than it currently is.

i want to remain on the committee because i care, simply put. on top of being a player, it means a lot to me that rules are fair to everyone involved. the players can get left behind in these conversations because a lot of people involved wear multiple hats, and i'm here to protect the core values of the players and make sure our values are thought about.

Do you have any examples of rules that are favored towards Staff as opposed to players? Anything you would want to change?

in my one season as player rep i haven't seen anything in particular that would suggest that, but i'd be open to having that discussion if you think otherwise. being on the committee as player rep is to prevent future ideas from being biased as well, and i think in this past season i've shown that commitment

To add to this idea: I'm a member of rules as a committee head. I'm also a non-layer, and have only played 2? matches of CSC, more than 2 seasons ago. I have a distinctly non-player perspective on how th eleague should operate as head of media, and sometimes having a player tell me that perspective during a rules discussion is important towards making rules that aren't informed by what a player sees.
