This question is being posed to all candidates: A big thing in some of your platforms is transparency between staff and players. First off, do you see the need for more accountability for admins specifically? If so, what are some ways you can come up with to accomplish this? I'm not just talking about punishing admins using their positions of power for wrongful purposes, but also less intense (not the right word for it but I'm blanking) things, like having regular-ish updates about current admin projects/discussions. These pre-election discussion threads are great, but once someone is elected, it would be helpful to have ways to confirm they are sticking to what they said they would do. If they aren't, I think that is something we the people deserve to know come re-election time.
I feel like its a hard thing to be able to point to one thing and guarantee it will happen. For example, last season there was someone who won (and the season prior) and ran on admin newsletter. Its a great idea but its hard to execute especially midseason. The issue with midseason is there actually isn't that much going on for admins to do. I think that should in general be changing but the day to day in season remains very consistent and as more responsibility is removed and placed to other committees its hard to do much more than have admins say that they talked with media/events about allstars and such.
I think that an admin newsletter should try to exist and be followed. Even if there is no news to post, this is something that has previously failed so I am not comfortable saying I can guarantee it will be followed to a tee. But I will personally say that I will work my hardest if elected to have a biweekly admin newsletter in a digestable form. I think that a lot of the things that go in #official-changes or even events that take place can just be mentioned in there, or in #notices can be posted in #admin-updates, certain pushes that we try to make midseason like @ATO | Assass1n's CSC config idea, or in the past @PFA | xXx_legeNd_xXx_420's wiki, can all take shape in #admin-updates in a more official mention. This could also work in tandem with @TFR | 42Firehawk and @ATL | omA 🏆s Journalism subcommittee of media I think.
Reporting the CSC news not only from an admin perspective but from a community perspective is very important.
