Why do you want to be a player representative for Rules Committee?

I feel like after my experience last season with a struggling team and having scheduling issues, I’d like to help in finding a way to cause less match delays and forfeits due to player absents by speaking with GMs, admins and other players to find solutions to issues that players have

so i feel the best way to have it without straight up rescheduling matches would be to allow a team 1 4v5/FF match without staff interference and allowing the players teammates to do something if they can, if the next match is the same issue then have a staff member reach out to the gm/agms of the respective team to see what's going on and why players are missing matches. If for whatever reason the team has a 3rd match in a row 4v5 or FF then have staff reach out to the players missing matches and after dialog with the player is concluded then make the decision of letting the player continue on their teams roster, moving the player to a FA position or further punishment at the staff discretion (edited)

it was less of being on a "struggling team" in the sense of a team not performing well, but more of being on a team that had issues with multiple players not showing up for matches without warning the GM/AGMs or their teammates. from personal experience my team had issues ranging from personal things that the player did not want to get into which is understandable but still needs something done about when the player continually failed to notify the team of their inability to show up for matches, and a player that blatantly did not care about making matches and had no care in notifying the team of their absence because they wanted to play other games. I don't personally see many if any issues with the current "sections" of the standing rule book, everything seems straight forward and easy to understand if a person sits and reads them to have an understanding of league operations. when I first saw the announcement for the position I personally interpreted the position as being similar to the job most union reps have at a standard unionized work place, this is similar to the role I hope to see myself filling in RC discussions. basically being a player that gets the opinions of other players on what needs to be done for them, their opinions on standing rules and bring their concerns to the RC during dialogs.
