What have you learned from your punishment history and do you think it will get in the way of being admin?

This past season, we saw the admin team take action in a way similar to an executive order by allowing more than 1 FA sub until the end of regular season for the challenger tier while the rules committee was actively discussing it. What are your thoughts on this ability to bypass committees?

Through your time in CSC you’ve carried a reputation as something of a troll & troublemaker rather consistently and to memory been muted a handful of times. 1. Would you be willing to disclose what strikes you’ve received in the last 2 seasons and for what? 2. How can we feel confident you will bring a serious attitude towards the admin position and not use it inappropriately

Since my trouble-making past I have matured as a person and have not been apart of any trouble-making activities in the past season 3 months (6 months if you discount a very unfortunate situation with an offensive key bind I was unknowledgeable about). It actually helps me as an admin as I understand the rules very clearly. (edited)

How will you make CSC more fun?

I want to make CSC a more fun-inclusive league, not that it currently isn't. I want to host events, be active with the community, take a ton of feedback and have a lot more public meetings.

I think bypassing any rules as an admin is fine, in any committee. There are no reasons to not be able to overrule a committee in extreme circumstances that bottleneck the league as long as it's within reason.

There is no need to bring up old immature actions of mine as I've long matured past this point and have reflected on a personal level to reach this point. My behavior reflects my pure outlook on CSC which is a for-fun league which I'm trying to have fun in. My comments in this discord do not represent my professional capacity in any way shape or form. I want to help the league prosper and live on as the monumental season 10 point reaches soon. (edited)

I don't think there's any present major issues. I would be insistent on ensuring a solid rebrand for season 10 as our anniversary.

The admins do all the hard behind the scenes work for the betterment of the league. It's the organization of new seasons, tiers, coordinating between all the committees and ensuring all roles are filled correctly. There is so much work they do that we don't see that keeps the league running and healthy that would not be possible without certain members.

While CSC has some lacking areas I honestly can't think about 1 worst specific thing about this league. If I had to name one I'd say the lack of importance the input from the community is given.

I want to be apart of the major decisions that keep this league alive and that will allow it to grow. I want to be apart of the season 10 anniversary rebrand season that will be our biggest season yet. I believe I have the skills and input to make this process as smooth as possible while assuring the health of the league moving forward.

I am a veteran player. I have progressed from the lowest tier in the league to the highest. I have had the opportunity of playing with a lot of players and know the leagues values to the core.

I've been here since Season 3, I've seen every aspect of the league, I've seen every blunder in the league as well as all the good moments. I have been here for the long run and have seen the mishaps of admins before me and I now know how to correct the past. I have judgement based on previous experiences that will allow me to help the league progress.

I want CSC as a league to survive for as long as possible and hope to implement an explosive season 10 anniversary rebrand that will grow our player base and allow all of our tiers to survive for as long as possible.

I do not believe in a single monolith of power. I think having a diverse set of opinions that accept and reject certain ideas is healthy for a thriving community as it promotes a good balance of opinions but also lets people be firm on their point. If people are stone walled in their opinions, I'd just want them to educate the rejecters and so long as that is happening, I cannot be opposed to their opinion. Education is crucial.

If that isn't what he meant I'm still curious as to the answer to that question. What specific responsibilities do you think admins have? One example could be making a league schedule.

as our biggest season yet, finally reaching the double digit season milestone mark, I want this season to be a rebrand as it will be our biggest season yet and will set the tone for the season's to come. It is important as this leagues direct health will tie into how we prosper in a year, 2 years and in 3 years. We will be unrecognizable in the coming season's as the league continues to expand and grow. I think we need a revolutionary new logo, banner and an entire twitch and youtube rebranding. A ton of great ideas.

As listed above, they do all the behind the scenes work. I know that a large part of organizing seasons is all up to admins with a lot of roles that need to be filled with people to have the league running smoothly as well as maintaining relationships with all other staff members to keep up morale and incentivize people to stay here. Being an admin is much more than specific tasks

Media and redrawing of logos is only for the aesthetics, I would prioritize some more exposure and advertising for the league to coincide with its rapid development. If advertising and promotion of the league is solely on the “Media Committee” then that process could be reviewed. But personally I don’t think a retouch in photoshop is the only division that needs upgrading. Finalizing a transfer of data from google sheets to our own domain website to expand our brand and independent label of CSC without being reliant too heavily on outside infrastructure. As a past donator and contributor to the league I see ways to promote growth.

At the end of the day there needs to be some power distributed in a democracy and when mal-intent is assumed, you will always find basis for it. Admins mean good for the league and that is all I have to say on this matter.

CSC started as an RSC offshoot meaning almost all the foundation we inherited was spawned for Rocket League. while it’s good to stay humble and praise your roots, our league is striving for independence and since we made it so far without fizzling out, a tenth season I see is a perfect time to carve out our own identity. That’s where the photoshop updates to everything come in, to help separate us from the same formula RSC passed down. I am NOT suggesting we sever ties from RSC, that would be rash and the very little balance Cake holds is good to keep server and admins in check. I just help grow CSC as it’s own entity. We were able to survive for 10 seasons, it’s cause for celebration and to rally and keep on the path of striving and improving the league.

As stated above, I have the skills and experience to be an admin. I have developed from a player to a teammate with the help of the many franchises and teams I've had the joy of being apart of. I have the leadership skills required to help lead this community to prosperity.

to add on to this, while I don't assume that all admins have bad intentions, saying "admins mean good for the league" as a blanket statement ignores past incidents of the position being abused. avoiding implementing a policy that would allow for abuse is not assuming malintent, it's a measure to help avoid the possibility of malintent having a negative impact on the league in the future.

I do think I'd like to be apart of the CSC infrastructure somehow to support the health of the league and keeping it running as long as possible as I do love this league. I constantly point new players around in VCs and like generally working with people. I'm a peoples guy. I've tried to be apart of a few committees in the past but have had too many time commitments.

I think ensuring we lower the FF rate across all tiers is a good change to help in this realm of the league that I'd be on board with implementing changes to encourage better sportsmanship for starters. Possibly having community polls on league suggestions changes would be something I'd like to see to promote the players impact on the direction of the league.
